Pre/Post-Care Instructions
- Excessive sweating or working out for 24/hrs
- Dove, Dial, Oil of Olay, Jergens, SoftSoap, Nivea, Irish Spring or any moisturizing liquid/bar soap
- Anti-aging/Acne treatments
- Spot Treatments
- Retinol (discontinue use 3 days before)
- Toners containing alcohol
- Loofas/Scrubs
- Bandaids/Adhesive tape
- Waxing
- Soaking skin (when doing mani/pedi)
- Oils and products containing mineral oil
- Shave/Wax at least 12 hours before your at home spray tan, make sure to exfoliate off any wax/razor residue
- Make sure you exfoliate your skin with an exfoliating mitt or dry brush to remove any dead skin and to prevent a blotchy tan. NO loofah or wash cloth as these are NOT rough enough to remove dead skin.
- Moisturize your skin before you go to sleep the evening before
- Avoid Dove Products + others with mineral oil
- Mani/pedi must be done 12-24/hours prior
- Do not shower immediately before your appointment. Must be air least 4 hours before
- Remove any deodorant/lotion/make-up/oils/perfume
- After your tan is complete wear loose cotton loungewear or t-shirt/sweatpants
- Adhere to rinse times discussed with your artist. Standard rinse times are between 3-5 hours
- No soap or shampoo for the first 24 hours
- Rinse evenly with warm water (no soap) be gentle + use hand (in circular motions) to gently remove bronzer + apply moisturizer after your 1st rinse
- Do not apply any makeup or perfume after your first rinse or before your first shower
- Do not shave at least 12 hours after your spray tan
- Do not wax for the full duration of your tan
- DO NOT USE Dove, Dial, Oil of Olay, Jergens, SoftSoap, Nivea, Irish Spring or any moisturizing liquid/bar soap before or after your tan
- Recommended products Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy, Native, CeraVe, Dr. Bonners
- Avoid lotions + soap/body washes with mineral oil, alcohol or perfumes
- Use our glōtion to keep your skin moisturized and make your tan last longer
- Avoid Scrubbing/Rubbing for the duration of your tan
